S$66 million boost for age-friendly moves
Enhanced WorkPro schemes will be spread over 3 years starting from July as re-employment age rises to 67

EMPLOYERS will be given more money to help put in place age-friendly practices to make work easier, safer and smarter for older workers as the government moves to raise the re-employment age from 65 to 67.
At the same time, the cap on the S$10,000 lump sum given under the tripartite guidelines - to tide over older workers not offered re-employment while they seek another job - is being raised to S$13,000.
A total of S$66 million will be made available to employers over three years through the enhanced WorkPro schemes, which support good age management practices and redesigning job processes at the workplace, the Ministry of Manpower …
