Taskforce to improve disease outbreak detection and response

THE Ministry of Health (MOH) has set up a seven-member taskforce to beef up the detection and response to disease outbreaks, particularly those that are unusual and unfamiliar.

Led by Minister of State for Health Chee Hong Tat, the taskforce comprises specialists in infectious diseases, systems engineering and data science.
