World Bank: they face job restrictions in 100 out of 173 economies

THE list of legal barriers to the economic advancement of women across the world remains long, despite efforts to promote greater equality of opportunity for them, a new report by the World Bank has said.
These barriers shut them out of certain jobs, limit their access to credit and leave them unprotected against violence in many economies, said the report.
