Aim, says PM Lee, is to improve career, academic progression of grads


THE government is planning to review the courses in Singapore's polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), with the recommendations expected to be ready sometime next year. The aim, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, is to find ways to improve the career and academic progression prospects of graduates, and to better match the strengths and interests of students to a hands-on-type of education.
