Helping financial institutions become future-ready
EDMUND Koh, head of UBS Wealth Management Asia-Pacific and country head of UBS Singapore, shares his thoughts on how the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) has helped UBS in Singapore prepare for the challenges ahead.
"IBF has done an excellent job over the years to help financial sector practitioners deepen skills and be future-ready," said Mr Koh, who is also head of UBS Global Affluent. "UBS Singapore has enjoyed a close and collaborative relationship with IBF. Our UBS Wealth Management Diploma and UBS Wealth Management Legal, Risk and Compliance Training internal certification programmes have been accredited under the IBF Standards, ensuring they are aligned with the highest standards and global best practices.
"Our newly-sponsored WMI (Wealth Management Institute) Anti-Money Laundering Risk Management programme, which is accredited by IBF, is another example of our collaboration to continuously enhance the skills and competencies of the wealth management industry which reinforces Singapore as one of the world's top financial centres."
