MALAYSIAN pawnshop operator Pappajack made a strong debut on the ACE market of Bursa Malaysia on Friday (Apr 1) amid active trade, with its shares rising to as much as RM0.40 during the day, a third higher than its initial public offering (IPO) price of RM0.30.

The counter opened at RM0.39, with a total of 202.3 million shares changing hands before closing at RM0.395 - a rise of 31.7 per cent. It was the most actively traded stock across the stock exchange.
