Asia-Pacific ex-Japan's share of global M&A falls to 14% in first quarter

ASIA-PACIFIC excluding Japan saw its share of the world's mergers and acquisition (M&A) in terms of deal value fall to 14 per cent in the first quarter of this year, as North America regained centrestage with a vengeance, capturing 54.4 per cent of global market share.

But the region is poised to make a comeback this quarter, Wang Yiqing, Mergermarket's APAC head, tells BT.
