AFTER a 2-year hiatus, the full-scale National Day Parade was back with a bang this year. Some 25,000 spectators - decked out in red and white - gathered at The Float @ Marina Bay to celebrate the nation’s 57th birthday. Set to the theme of Stronger Together, Majulah!, the parade was the final one to be held at the floating platform, before the venue’s redevelopment into the NS Square.

Earlier in the day, over 1,000 Ang Mo Kio residents gathered at the Teck Ghee Community Club for the constituency’s first National Day Observance Ceremony since the pandemic. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong observed the festivities, which included dance performances by primary school students and a sing-along session of National Day songs.
