NUS appoints new dean for Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
THE current dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the National University of Singapore, Brenda Yeoh, will be relinquishing the post after six years. Taking over the role with effect from Jan 1, 2017, is 52-year-old English literature professor Robbie Goh, according to NUS in a release on Wednesday morning.
On Jan 1, Prof Yeoh will be appointed NUS' vice-provost for graduate education; she will be responsible for matters relating to masters and PhD programmes including funding, curriculum, strategy and policy.

He has served in various administrative roles in NUS, including as vice-dean of the faculty from 2010 to 2015, and before that as the head of the Department of English Language and Literature from 2004 to 2010.
