Post-Valentine, love's a mess

THE Stage Club's new production, which runs at Alliance Francaise Theatre till Saturday, ambitiously combines two different plays by three great figures of American theatre - Sam Shepard and Joseph Chaikin who co-wrote Savage/Love, and John Patrick Shanley who penned Danny And The Deep Blue Sea.

The double bill is called The Savage/Love Of Danny And The Deep Blue Sea and has been touted as a post-Valentine's look at love.

The production, directed by Kamil Haque, takes a while to get going since audiences are asked to come at 730pm to find live music playing outside the auditorium before the double bill begins at 8pm.
