Enjoy festive favourites with a touch of Peranakan at INDOCAFÉ - the white house.

Give your tastebuds a new year treat with auspicious dishes spiced up with authentic Peranakan flavours.

INDOCAFÉ - the white house is a Peranakan restaurant that celebrates a unique cuisine which is the result of a melting pot of mainly Chinese and Malay gastronomic traditions.

In a charming colonial house amid the lush greenery of Scotts Road, just a stone's throw from Orchard Road, INDOCAFÉ's true blue Peranakan chefs faithfully replicate original recipes handed down over the generations. And because Peranakans also celebrate Chinese New Year, who better than these same chefs to create not 1 but 3 sumptuous set menus - Happiness, Fortune and Bountiful.

Good for 4, 6, 8 or 10 people, they are priced at S$238++, S$418++ and S$688++, and are available over the CNY period. And as a guarantee of its good value for money, INDOCAFÉ - the white house has been awarded the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand designation.

INDOCAFÉ is open on New Year's Eve and the first three days of the New Year, closing only on Jan 28 & 29, and re-opening on Jan 30.

For this Chinese New Year, INDOCAFÉ - the white house indulges diners with luxurious specialties like abalone, smoked salmon and sea cucumber, plus auspicious ingredients such as fish and fatt choy.

To ensure a fortuitous start to the year, each menu begins with the Glorious Prosperity Nyonya Yu Sheng, with a choice of smoked salmon or abalone.

For a splendid year, there is Fish Maw Soup with Prawn Balls, Mushroom & Fatt Choy. This heartily nutritious Nyonya-style fish maw soup has bouncy prawn balls, juicy mushrooms and fatt choy, which symbolises prosperity for the whole family.

For a joyous year ahead, Hua Diao Wine Steamed Prawns are cooked to perfection and retain their natural juices, with a dash of Hua Diao Rice Wine to enhance their fragrance and taste.

Representing abundance is the Steamed Red Garoupa Hong Kong Style, with fragrant soy sauce complementing the tender yet firm flesh of this delicately steamed fish.

Broccoli & Cauliflower with Abalone & Scallop symbolise prosperity and the blossoming of new beginnings - fresh scallops are stir-fried with abalone, and the sweetness of the gravy is intensified by the umami of plump shiitake mushrooms.

Together with Five-Treasures Tau Eu Bak with Sea Cucumber, Steamed Sea Bass in Nyonya Sauce, Chef's Special Inchi Kabin Crispy Chicken and lip-smackingly savoury Nyonya Fried Mee Siam with Crabmeat & Prawns, INDOCAFÉ - the white house promises that this will be a Chinese New Year meal to remember.
