Super Sunday in the EPL
THIS weekend sees the English Premier League (EPL) whip up its usual serving of ten matches, but most of the attention will be on two high-profile fixtures on Sunday.
There is sure to be high-octane drama whenever Everton and Liverpool play each other in the Merseyside derby, the longest-running top-flight derby in English football.
The fixture, however, has lost some of its lustre of late, evidenced by the two dull stalemates last season as neither club could claim bragging rights of any sort.
There have been some memorable results in the past - the 2013/14 season saw the Reds pound Everton 4-0 at Anfield, two months after they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Goodison Park.
