The 30th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) kicks off on Nov 21 with Anthony Chen's Wet Season at Capitol Theatre and a cinematic feast of 90 films from 40 countries that awaits cinephiles. Homegrown works get a strong showing this year - 17 local films have been selected for screening at the festival including five features and five shorts in the Singapore Panorama section.
