The seven-seat Peugeot 5008 turbodiesel with an automated manual gearbox gets a facelift. By Samuel Ee
ONE of the most spacious seven-seater MPVs in COE Category A gets a makeover and it is now slightly smoother. The Peugeot 5008 1.6 e-HDi multi-purpose vehicle is a three-year-old model which has been refreshed with new headlights and a new grille for a more distinctive front end. The 3D Peugeot lion badge is also new and it rests on a more curvaceous bonnet.
Inside, the head-up display's orange monotone makes way for a more appealing white and green readout. The HUD is a polycarbonate strip that flips up in front of the steering wheel when the engine is cranked.
An all-new monitor in the middle of the dashboard displays audio information which used to be read off a slim screen lower down the centre console. It offers a wider range of information than before, such as GPS navigation and a reverse camera, among others.
