More Than Just Hollywood

Los Angeles has more museums and theatres than any other American city. Plus beaches and farmers markets to make any foodie drool.

Say Los Angeles and iconic landmarks such as the Hollywood Sign, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Universal Studios come to mind. And if you want to do any celebrity spotting, La La Land is where you want to be.

But there's a lot more to Los Angeles than just Beverly Hills and sound stages.

For a start, Los Angeles has more museums and theatres than any other American city. There are more than 105 museums, but if time is a constraint, The Broad, and The Getty Center are two worth checking out.

The Broad, on Grand Avenue in downtown LA, is a contemporary art museum founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad.
