[SINGAPORE] Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 - which disappeared 17 days ago with 239 people on board - went down in the southern Indian Ocean, said Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak at a press conference last night.

He said that according to new analysis of satellite data tracking the flight, the jet flew along the southern corridor and its last position was west of Perth.
