No plans to raise CPF Minimum Sum beyond '15

[SINGAPORE] There is one more scheduled increase to the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Minimum Sum next year, and the government does not have plans to raise it further after that.

This was revealed in parliament yesterday by Manpower Minister Tan Chuan-Jin, when asked by Nee Soon GRC MP Lee Bee Wah if the Minimum Sum was expected to go up again beyond 2015.

It was announced two months ago that the Minimum Sum would be raised to $155,000 for those turning 55 between July 1 this year and June 30 next...
