Are Asian-American voters turning 'purple'?

Republicans may have changed Asian-Americans' blue (Democratic) preference.

MUCH of the focus on why the Republicans lost the 2012 presidential election was on the role that Hispanic voters played in the GOP's electoral fiasco that year and in 2008 when Barack Obama carried the Latino vote as he headed towards his first presidential victory.

The conventional wisdom was that the Republicans were losing the support of Hispanics, who were emerging as a new and powerful voting bloc, and that as the number of Latinos increases in the coming years, the GOP could find itself playing defence as it becomes more dependent on the votes of white Americans, a declining demographic group.
