Asian equities, with diversification, look rewarding in 2015

IT'S the time of year when market strategists issue their projections for the next one and, in many reports, one word stands out for 2015: divergence. This is true in terms of central bank policy directions and economic trajectories. In the US, the Federal Reserve is widely expected to begin to raise interest rates sometime next year.

The US economic recovery so far has proved the most robust. The Bank of England is also expected to raise rates. But the European Central Bank and Bank of Japan are likely to continue to expand their balance sheets.
