Feeding the future

Millennials are key to delivering paradigm-shifting solutions for the exacting demands of feeding the world's population of more than 9 billion by 2050.

Aid agencies say 18 million of Yemen's population of 26 million are now food insecure, including 8.4 million who are severely food insecure, more than three years since the start of escalating conflict in the poorest Arab country.

BY NOW we have all heard the challenge: the world's population is set to reach more than 9 billion people by 2050, how will we feed this growing population? The status quo surely won't cut it.
