FROM July 12, groups of up to five will be able to dine together at food and beverage (F&B) establishments and take part in indoor exercise activities. Wedding receptions and workplace gatherings can also resume, the multi-ministry taskforce on Covid-19 announced on Wednesday.

Entertainment at F&B establishments, however, will remain prohibited. This includes live entertainment, recorded music, and videos or television.

Wedding receptions may resume with up to 250 persons if there is pre-event testing for all attendees. For receptions with up to 50 persons, pre-event testing will be required for the wedding party only.

Gyms and fitness studios may conduct indoor mask-off sports or exercise activities in groups of up to five persons. Classes can have up to either 50 people including the instructor, or the venue's capacity limit, whichever is lower.

While work-from-home remains the default, social and recreational gatherings at the workplace will be allowed. But these must be limited to no more than five persons, in line with the broader community rules for social gatherings.
