Zalora partners ESG to offer e-commerce help to SMEs

Published Mon, Jul 12, 2021 · 03:43 PM

ZALORA, through its inaugural participation in Enterprise Singapore's (ESG) E-Commerce Booster Package 2021, will be launching an e-commerce booster bundle to help local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and sellers diversify and scale their operations online, the fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform announced.

First introduced last year at the onset of the pandemic, ESG's package is now being re-introduced to help SMEs go digital as the e-commerce industry continues to see sustained and robust demand off the back of the region's growing pool of digital consumers.

Through the subsidised package, sellers can gain access to Zalora's Trender Professional dashboard - where they can compare their performance with over 3,000 local and global brands using Zalora's benchmark data - for six months.

They will also be able to integrate with last-mile solution providers, store products in Zalora's fulfilment centres and take advantage of free shipping, through some of Zalora's fulfilment solutions.

In addition to receiving S$6,000 worth of Zalora's sponsored advertisement credit, merchants can make use of marketing campaigns and exposure opportunities available.

The package will also make available an onboarding process that provides guidance on store set-up, reporting, delivery and online operations to ease their online transition.

The package was originally valued at S$10,000 but qualifying retailers can purchase it at the subsidised rate of S$2,000 a bundle if they apply via Zalora by Nov 16 this year.

"As digital adoption rates continue to grow rapidly, we hope that retailers will be able to leverage our in-depth knowledge and expertise to effectively pivot their offerings online, and future-proof their operations for the post-pandemic world and beyond," said Alessio Romeni, chief revenue officer at Zalora.

"This will also benefit the end consumer, and higher sales will further boost the investments for better offering, generating a flywheel model."
