SingTel AGM: chairman's fee bump draws some objections

SOME SingTel shareholders found it hard to swallow a fee bump for Simon Israel, the telco's chairman, during the firm's annual general meeting (AGM) yesterday.

The operator had proposed to more than double Mr Israel's non-executive director's fee from S$386,828 to S$960,000.
