2020s: Decade when HR gets more strategic

The core capability of HR in the next decade would be the ability to apply expert judgment by blending the "soft" parts of business (culture, experience, organisational psychology and design) with the "hard" parts (technology, analytics, finance and operations).


JUST a decade ago, IT departments were mostly still seen as a back-end function. Today, as technology has infused almost every business domain, the CTO wields enormous influence on productivity, and strategy.
