WITH 12,000 businesses on Evernote premium accounts and counting, the note-taking software company is pushing companies to rely on Evernote, hoping for more paying users to come onboard its platform.

Asia-Pacific vice-president Troy Malone told BizIT last week that the company is keen on growing its corporate user base, and has sales teams in many of the countries in the region trying to sell the concept of Evernote becoming part of the organisation.

From his base in San Francisco, Mr Malone watches over sales staff in Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Taiwan. Evernote employs two people in Singapore, and has been operating here since February 2013.
