China: Stocks down after inflation data

[HONG KONG] Shanghai stocks ended lower on Tuesday as a worse-than-forecast Chinese inflation reading added to concerns about the country's economy following the weekend's disappointing trade data The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.18 per cent, or 6.39 points, to 3,640.49, but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.82 per cent, or 18.01 points, to 2,209.61.
