Europe: Stock markets stable before US jobs data

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets were steady at the open Friday awaiting key US jobs data.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.1 per cent to 7,516.82 points compared with the closing level on Thursday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained around 0.1 per cent to 12,979.34 points and the Paris CAC 40 dipped fractionally to 5,378.07.
