Europe: Stock markets steady at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.1 per cent at 7,140.51 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index dipped 0.2 per cent to 11,570.97 points and the Paris CAC 40 was almost flat at 5,288.55, compared with Monday's closing levels.
