Europe: Stocks close down

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets closed lower on Monday with London's benchmark FTSE-100 index ending the day down 0.24 per cent to 6,837.15 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index slumped 1.69 per cent to close at 10,663.51 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 dropped 0.85 per cent to 4,651.08 points.
