Europe: Stocks dip at open

[LONDON] European stock markets dipped at the start of trading on Friday after finishing the previous session with solid gains.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index eased 0.1 per cent to 6,906.38 points compared with the close on Thursday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 lost 0.2 per cent to 10,718.33 points and the Paris CAC 40 fell 0.1 per cent to open at 4,501.06.
