Hong Kong: Stocks extend rally at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong's stock market rally pushed into a ninth day on Thursday as investors tracked a record close for all three main indexes on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.37 per cent, or 98.32 points to 26,770.48.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.05 per cent, or 1.77 points, to 3,229.21 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.09 per cent, or 1.69 points, to 1,837.37.
