Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.24% higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged up 0.24 per cent in early trade Thursday despite a fourth successive day of losses on Wall Street.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 56.75 points to 24,169.35.
