Hong Kong: Stocks open higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks started with gains Monday as investors look ahead to a crucial week that includes the release of US jobs data and a meeting between Xi Jinping and Donald Trump in Florida.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.29 per cent, or 70.55 points, to 24,182.14.
Mainland Chinese markets are closed for a two-day public holiday.
