Hong Kong: Stocks rally back on track at open
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares pressed higher again soon after opening Thursday, tracking another record close on Wall Street, and putting the market on course for its eighth gain in nine days.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.41 per cent, or 89.49 points, to 21,971.97.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, edging down 0.30 points to 3,027.60, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.02 per cent, or 0.35 points, to 2,035.50.
