Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down two points to 1,728.74.

Volume was 2.03 billion lots worth RM2.03 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 532 to 342.
