Malaysia: Shares close lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.40 points to 1,604.75.

Volume was 14.414 billion lots worth RM5.088 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 731 to 473.
