Malaysia: Shares end higher

Malaysian shares closed higher on Thursday, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gaining 22.39 points to 1,656.52.
Some 1.95 billion lots, valued at RM2.25 billion, were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 594 to 298.
