Malaysia shares open higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.00 points to 1,706.21 at 9am.
Volume was 31.28 million lots worth RM23.2 million.
Gainers beat losers 137 to 38.
