Malaysia: Shares open higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.89 points to 1,723.66.
Volume was 35.3 million lots worth RM18.94 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 119 to 76.
