Malaysia shares open higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.80 points to 1,718.67 at 9am.
Volume was 92.17 million lots worth RM85.31 million.
Gainers beat losers 136 to 64.
