Malaysia: Shares open higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.42 points, or 0.22 per cent, to 1,556.07 as at 9.04am.

Volume was 308.74 million lots worth about RM103.92 million. Gainers beat losers 272 to 74.
