Malaysia shares open higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.79 points to 1,685.52 at 9am.
Volume was 28.44 million lots worth RM13.97 million.
Losers beat gainers 88 to 40.
