Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.91 points to 1,598.38 as at 9.01am.

Volume was 20.8 million lots worth RM10.4 million.

Gainers beat losers 82 to 42.
