Malaysia shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 10.42 points, or 0.61 per cent to 1,688.22 as at 9.05am.
Volume was 173.4 million lots worth about RM107.1 million.
Losers beat gainers 147 to 131.
