Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.66 points to 1,644.08 at 9am.

Volume was 39.2 million lots worth RM19.55 million.

Gainers and losers were equal at 63 apiece.
