Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.33 points, or 0.27 per cent, to 1,593.15 as at 9.06am.
Volume was 484.30 million lots worth about RM218.44 million. Gainers beat losers 219 to 216.
