Singapore: Shares end higher

SINGAPORE shares end higher on Wednesday.
The Straits Times Index gained 19.75 points to 3,435.66.
Some 642.4 million shares, valued at S$779.5 million were traded. Gainers numbered 226 while losers numbered 128.
