Singapore shares opens lower on Tuesday

SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the Straits Times Index down 1.74 points to 3,185.77.
Volume was 31.3 million shares worth S$42.1 million as at 9am.
Gainers outnumbered losers 60 to 33.
