Singapore stocks: STI resumes Monday afternoon at 3,617.06, up 1.1%
SINGAPORE stocks resumed trading on Monday afternoon in positive territory, with the Straits Times Index rising by 39.85 points or 1.1 per cent, up on the day to 3,617.06 as at 1pm.
Gainers outnumbered losers 188 to 148.
About 1.29 billion shares worth S$931.5 million in total changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Magnus Energy, which was flat at S$0.001 with 70.7 million shares changing hands. Other actives included Ezion and Thomson Medical.
Active index stocks included DBS Bank at S$30.84, up by S$0.84 or 2.8 per cent, and OCBC Bank at S$13.86, up by S$0.21 or 1.54 per cent.
