Singapore stocks: STI resumes Monday afternoon trading at 3,074.22, up 0.4% on day
SINGAPORE stocks resumed afternoon trading in positive territory on Monday, with the Straits Times Index up 11.71 points, or 0.4 per cent to 3,074.22 as at 1.04pm.
Gainers outnumbered losers 164 to 147, after about 893.8 million shares worth S$448.2 million changed hands.
The most actively traded counter was Rex International with 44.64 million shares traded. It fell 3.09 per cent or 0.3 Singapore cent to 9.4 Singapore cents.
Other actively traded stocks included Genting Singapore with 40.23 million shares changing hands, rising 2.14 per cent, or two Singapore cents, to 95.5 Singapore cents.
Among active index stocks, DBS inched up 0.33 per cent or eight Singapore cents to S$24.34. Singtel was flat at S$3.17.
